The Northern Shooting Show is pleased to announce it is supporting the Lincolnshire Bell Target league once again. We believe it can only go from strength to strength with more people getting involved and it is also opening the sport to a new range of people whilst supporting our rural pubs.
The league is also being backed by Air Arms who have supplied two air rifles for the 2018/2019 season.
Claire West of Air Arms said “We are extremely proud to support the Lincolnshire Bell Target League. Bell Target has really started to grow in popularity over the past couple of years, it’s amazing to be part of a sport that not only brings together groups of like-minded people, but also supports local and rural communities.”
It is hoped to develop the sport in the Grantham and Cleethorpes areas as well as the existing venues around Market Rasen and Saxilby.
The sport takes place in various pubs across the county, shooters stand eighteen feet away from the target, which is a four inch steel plate with a hole in the centre the object of the sport is to get a pellet through the hole to ring the bell behind it, teams are made up of eight shooters each taking five shoots.
The sport is open to all ages and abilities and equipment can be provided or you can use your own .177 air rifle with iron or diopta sights
The bell target season will start again in September if you would like to host a sessions at your pub or club or would like to take part in the sport then contact County Development Officer Dave Carter on email@example.com
