Visitors to the Northern Shooting Show with an interest in the skills needed to build the finest guns will be in for a treat as the show in May will host the Gun Trade Association Gunmakers’ Marquee. The area will feature talks and demonstrations throughout the two days from specialists in all fields of gunmaking. They’ll be pleased to answer your questions and show you their work.
Also GTA Director Simon West will be demonstrating how to cast a cannon each day. It will be fantastic opportunity for visitors to get up close to this lost art.
“We are really looking forward to visiting the great Northern Shooting Show again this year, and we are also incredibly excited to be organising such an important feature as the Gunmakers’ Marquee. The Gunmakers’ Maruee will be an excellent platform for members of the Gun Trade Association to educate the public on their noble crafts whilst also demonstrating some of the intricate skills that are such an important element of the UK gun trade.”
“We are delighted to have the Gun Trade Association on board with some of their members who will be helping the visitors to find out more about what it takes to make the finest guns in the proud tradition of British gunmaking,. Said Paul Whitelam, Show Organsier
